clean aesthetic. For the stunning union of Gayathri & Anandan, we curated an outdoor celebration at
O by Tamara, Trivandrum that perfectly balanced sacred rituals with a sophisticated, modern
minimalist design language.
The Concept: Clean Lines & Traditional Elements
The vision for Gayathri and Anandan’s day was centered on simplicity. We moved away from heavy,
overcrowded stage setups, opting for structural wooden elements, fresh tropical greenery, and a crisp
white-and-gold palette accented by soft, romantic pinks.
The Sacred Mandap
The centerpiece of the event was an open, beautifully crafted wooden mandap structure designed to
let the expanse of the sky breathe.

A Tale of Two Looks
Gayathri and Anandan beautifully transitioned through the day’s ceremonies, showcasing the rich
textile heritage of Kerala:
The Pure White & Gold: For the initial rituals, the couple epitomized classic elegance.
Gayathri wore a breathtaking white Kerala Kasavu saree paired with antique gold temple
jewelry and a classic braided hair layout adorned with fresh jasmine. Anandan complemented
her in a minimalist cream silk shirt and a matching gold-bordered mundu.
The Vibrant Vermilion: For the main ceremony, Gayathri changed into a striking scarlet silk
saree featuring intricate gold zari borders. The bold color stood out magnificently against the
neutral, light-filled backdrop of the mandap.
Intimate Rituals
Every detail was carefully placed to maintain a clutter-free environment. An intricate bronze Ganesha
idol, draped in a fresh white garland and sitting on a bed of lotus blossoms, quietly blessed the aisle.
The guest seating featured elegant gold chiavari chairs with simple white padding, keeping the view
clean and polished.
As the ceremony concluded, loved ones showered the newlyweds with fresh pink rose petals from
hand-woven wicker baskets, capping off a day of pure, uncluttered joy.
